We’re not a call center that dispatches strangers. Halden Heating and Air Atlanta runs on a tight crew of local technicians who live in the neighborhoods we serve, from East Atlanta to Sandy Springs to Decatur. Most of us have been turning wrenches in Georgia heat and humidity for well over a decade. What unites the team isn’t a logo on a shirt. It’s the Relay Standard, the operating rule we work under: written price before work starts, written guarantee on every repair, and a level of accountability that means you’ll never wonder who’s showing up or what you’re paying for. These are real people with real names, and you’ll see the same faces job after job.

Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Halden Heating and Air Atlanta for eleven years, and he’s the one we send when a system has stumped somebody else. He’s EPA-certified for refrigerant handling and holds certifications across Carrier, Trane, and Lennox equipment. Before HVAC, Marcus worked maintenance at a Midtown apartment complex, which is where he learned that Atlanta’s humidity punishes undersized air handlers harder than anywhere in the Southeast. Ask him about the 1994 Goodman in Grant Park that ran for twenty-nine years on two compressors and pure stubbornness. He’ll tell you the story while he diagnoses your system in about the time it takes to drink a glass of sweet tea. When he’s not on a roof, Marcus rebuilds vintage motorcycles in his Kirkwood garage.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana has installed over six hundred residential systems across metro Atlanta, which means she’s seen every attic crawlspace nightmare Cobb County and Gwinnett County can offer. She’s NATE-certified and specializes in high-SEER heat pump and AC replacements, with a particular talent for fitting new equipment into old 1940s bungalow closets without tearing out drywall. Dana keeps a running spreadsheet of every install she’s ever done, organized by neighborhood and equipment type, because she says memory is no substitute for records. She grew up in Decatur and has strong opinions about which Waffle House location makes the best late-night hash browns after a long summer install day. Her installs come with the same written guarantee every Halden job carries, and she’ll walk you through the system operation before she leaves.
Rosa P., Service Coordinator
Rosa is the voice on the phone when you call (912) 616-5481 at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m., and she’s been answering for us since 2016. She’s the reason you don’t get a voicemail tree when your AC dies during a July heat advisory in Buckhead. Rosa schedules every job, assigns the right tech based on the specific equipment and issue, and sends you the live arrival tracking link so you can watch your technician drive to your door instead of guessing when a four-hour window might open. She knows the difference between a capacitor call and a compressor replacement before the tech even pulls into your driveway. Before Halden, Rosa worked dispatch for a freight company in College Park, which is where she learned that clear communication matters more than anything else when someone is waiting on a truck. She lives in Smyrna with her two rescue dogs, both named after Atlanta Braves pitchers.
Jordan W., Apprentice Technician
Jordan joined the crew two years ago through Georgia’s HVAC apprenticeship pipeline, and he’s already earned his EPA 608 certification while shadowing Marcus on hundreds of service calls. He handles condenser coil cleaning, filter replacements, and diagnostic support, and he’s the one who will lay down drop cloths and wear shoe covers without being asked. Jordan grew up in Lawrenceville and remembers his family’s ancient R-22 unit wheezing through Georgia summers when he was a kid, which is exactly why he got into this trade. He’s the youngest person on the team and also the most likely to explain a refrigerant recharge in terms his grandmother would understand. When he’s not on a job, Jordan coaches youth basketball at a rec center in Norcross.
One Standard, Every Job
The Relay Standard isn’t a corporate slogan hanging on an office wall. It’s the actual working rule Andre Fuller, the owner, enforces on every single job our team runs. That means Marcus doesn’t touch a wrench until you’ve seen a written price. It means Dana doesn’t leave an install until you’ve signed off on the system’s performance. It means Rosa doesn’t close a service ticket until the repair guarantee is in writing and you understand exactly what it covers. And it means Jordan knows from day one that cutting corners isn’t a career path here. The Relay Visibility Guarantee takes it one step further: you can track your tech to the door, you get real-time updates, and every repair includes a free second visit if it fails during the coverage window. Four different roles, four different backgrounds, and one standard that doesn’t change depending on who shows up. That’s the whole point.
